Construction pictures of the 40 meter helically
wound antenna. The materials used are 3 inch abs plastic pipe and end cap, 12 gauge wire and copper brazing rod for
the capacitance hat, some old, odd gauge coax wire for the element winding and excess hardware. The antenna is mounted
to the back side of a 12 foot tall fence and a chainlink fence and additional wire is used for the ground radial system.
